Conference on Boris Kagarlitsky

Dear friends,

The conference “Boris Kagarlitsky and the Challenges of the Left Today” is Tuesday, October 8.

This is an urgent request to you as sponsors of the conference to give it a last-minute plug on your social networks and newsletter lists.

At a time when inter-imperialist rivalry is producing increasingly atrocious wars, the conference is an important opportunity to address this burning issue for all humanity–one to which Boris Kagarlitsky himself has devoted years of thought.

The conference sessions–addressing with eminent speakers Kagarlitsky’s latest work, The Long Retreat, the state of the Left in Russia, the nature of contemporary imperialism and intellectual repression in Russian and elsewhere—all bear on this critical issue.

Please then, if at all possible, make a final effort to publicise the event, not least because it will launch the Kagarlitsky Network for Intellectual Freedom, a  tool in our ongoing campaign to win the release of Boris Kagarlitsky and all other anti-war political prisoners in the Russian Federation.
