Diane Ravitch

You can hear Diane Ravitch’s revised version of what’s needed for school reform, as well as a very different perspective (my own), in a panel this Friday, March 26, 6:00 PM, at NYU, Silver Room 207. The panel is open to the public. Ravitch is the architect of the US version of a school reform project that has been imposed by the World Bank on developing nations. As I explain in an article for NP that project came home in the form of NCLB, and in an NP blog, reverberates  now in the Obama/Duncan reforms.

Joining us in the panel is  Edward Fergus, Deputy Director of the Metropolitan Center for Urban Education at New York University.

The panel has been organized by the Radical Film and Lecture Series.
